There are few designs that have stood the test of time as well as the Panthella table lamp by Verner Panton. This sublime piece of design reveals Panton at his best – a playful organic form enhanced with an inspired use of materials and technologies.
Those beautiful fluid lines were also created to enable the gloss base to act as a reflector and deftly bathe the surrounding area with pleasing lighting tones.
The inspired use of a translucent acrylic shade results in an engaging transformation at night, when the hemispherical shade allows the softer, warmer light tones to pass through into the room.
Originally created back in 1971, the Panthella light has been produced in many different finishes and today is offered in white by Louis Poulsen
