These award winning egg cups are part of the distinctive collection created by Pernille Vea for Menu and demonstrate an appealing evolution of the iconic Verner Panton design.
Verner Panton was a master of the fluid, futuristic style of 1960s design and the iconic Geometry 1 textile design achieved the International Design Award in the United States in 1963.
It is a testament to Panton’s original design and Vea’s own design skills that the two integrate so effortlessly together.
Each egg cup comes with its own ‘thermal isolation lid’ (or shall we just call it - ‘a cover’) to keep your egg warm. It is suggested that this cover is also useful for storing your egg shell pieces and as a hand held egg cup. Hmmm... you could also use it as a piece of flamboyant head gear for action man if you are feeling that way inclined…
